The Beauty of Bronze Fusion.
I had the privilege of being present at the bronze casting of a statue at Fonderia D’Arte Massimo Del Chiaro one of the most renowned art foundries in Versilia, a place where tradition merges with modernity in a ballet of fire and bronze.
The emotion permeating the air is tangible from the moment I step through the threshold of the sacred place where the ancient art of casting comes to life.
The workers move with precision and coordination, each aware of their role in the process. They are a united team, guided by mastery acquired through generations of experience. It's a true team effort, where each member contributes their skills and expertise to ensure the success of the casting.
The tension in the air is palpable, like a vibrant energy ready to explode in a crescendo of emotions until the long-awaited moment arrives: the molten bronze is poured into the carefully prepared molds that, through further steps, will constitute the complete statue.
An experience that will remain etched in my memory forever.
I thank the entire staff of Fonderia Massimo Del Chiaro, Luca Pettirossi and Leopoldo Bertozzi for giving me the opportunity to visit the foundry and photograph these moments.
